I stopped in at the Technical Museum of Innovation in Second Life to take a virtual tour - another will be available on the 11th - and despite my freezing client, I found it very fun and interesting to look at. The intern, whose name is Sera Wrigglesworth, is a 'virtual intern' - a first for me. She gets to log in and take people through the museum - a very nice and modern internship. She was doing a wonderful job of leading us through the exhibits, but unfortunately my client and ISP conspired against us and did not permit me the remainder of her tour.
I managed to fumble through on my own, though - and there is some pretty interesting stuff in there which is, itself, interactive.
Plus, if you're interested in creating your own museum exhibit, you can find out more on their website.
Here are some pictures from the exhibit:

An interactive exhibit demonstrating perspective.

An interactive guitar exhibit. Wonderful build of the giant guitar takes up 250 prims

You have got to try out these dancing sculptures. Very cool.

What exhibit could there be without SETI?
Definitely worth a peak. Go take a look. :-)
