Second Life Makes AOL's Hottest Products of 2007 List

Well it seems Second Life Has found its way in AOL's hottest products of 2007 list as number 15, right after Webkinz and the Nikon Coolpix s51c.

"The online virtual world launched in 2003, but really hit the mainstream in late
2006 and early 2007 when reports surfaced about the real money being made by virtual businesses there.

According to Second Life's Web site, they have over 10 million "residents," with approximately 1 million residents logging in within the last 30 days or so."

Other items on the list included Coke Zero, The Wii, and Hanna Montana. The only other game on the list was Halo 3 and it was ranked 8. SL was 15. But it seems that nothing, including SL was as hot in 2007 as the iPhone!
