Banking in SL: Is It Safe?
Just a reminder, for those interested - at 1 p.m. SLT on Saturday, 10 November 2007 I'll be at the Diversionarium - Pandoria (16,157,23) - talking about the Second Life banking industry as a guest on Sophrosyne's Salon. I will be caffeinated, prepared, and will deal with hecklers with extreme amusement.
But seriously - the issue of banking within Second Life is a very real issue, especially with the events over the last 4 months.
If you're interested in banking and related issues within Second Life, stop in. Or you can just send me your Lindens and I promise I'll give you a negative interest rate.
Nobody's honor!

I might pop along if I get time. It's certainly an area where many people have an interest.
Yeah.
I expect some interesting things to come from the keyboards of others. My own ideas bore the snot out of me. :-)

I would like to be there but
I would like to be there but I think I broke my club on the last dead horse and I fear that it will turn into a flaming session rather than a discussion as the previous meetings have. There is a problem that should be addressed but I am not so sure those meetings will do it.
true.
But this is an awareness meeting. People who get into flamefests may well lose customers.

Good.
The Rock Insurance Co. is a pivot in things. What amazes me is that there is no competition... yet.

Yes.
I believe every time a good group of people can exchange constructive ideas and opinions in a civil way (like yesterday), it is always good.
