As I was meeting with my dear friend Bevan Whitfield, I received a IM from Circe Broom. She inquired if I enjoyed classical music and if I would be interested in joining both she and her friend Vincent Merricks for a performance at the Conservatory, located on the SIM Isle of Ballymore (90, 130, 27). Never one to miss a performance, I jaunted over to the conservatory where I spent an enjoyable hour listening to some very good live performances.

The Conservatory and its surrounding landscape are serene in nature and allows one to really sit back and take in the atmosphere.

The stage was set and both David Weiss (Kahuna Schumann - SL) and Alpha Hockett Walker (Clarissima Schumann - SL), who are RL husband and wife, began performing a stellar repetiore. The program consisted of works by Schumann, Mozart, Strauss, and several more gifted composers.

Overall the concert was extremely well performed by both Kahuna and his wife Clarissima. I will say I was impressed by Kuhana's versatility to perform such a wide range of instruments (oboe, saw, and english horn), while Clarissima performed the piano throughout the concert.

Overall, it was the perfect relaxing remedy to a very hectic SL day.
