Well it looks like our favorite ad land spammer Robo Marx who loves to deal spam ad lots and harass others has surfaced once again. You know Robo Marx, the guy notorious for putting nasty overpriced 16 meter rotating ad lots in nice sims. The guy who started an auction website and promoted it by defacing a different auction parcel with ads for his own. And guess what??? He wants even more money from You. Not only doe's he want Your money, he expects You to trust him with this money and trust the fact that he will invest it well, pay You dividends, and not run off with it. Luv Lykin was kind enough to point out to me that Robo is in fact in pre IPO stage on Vstex, one of the Second Lifes stock exchanges. But notice the "pre" I mentioned before IPO. Robo's auction site company is not an official IPO yet. His company BAY (slbayauctions.com) is listed on the pending company's page. What this means is that any Vstex member who has 5000 shares in the mother company (currently also in IPO at .50L a share) has the right to vote on weather Robo's company will make it to the IPO stage. This also means I'm a new Vstex member with 5000 shares of my own in Vstex just so that I had the ability to vote NO. I hope that anyone else who feels as strongly as I do is willing to risk $2500L in order to stand up against Robo Marx and the way he has destroyed our mainland. And if Your considering investing in Robo Marx, consider this. He destroys sim after sim with no concern for what the community thinks or how it effects residents, and his defense, it's not against the TOS, its just a game. Well with sl stock exchanges taking the money and running is dirty and slimy and looked down on by the community, but technically, Like spam lot dealing it's not against the TOS or illegal because technically your dealing with fictional currency. SL stock exchanges are based on trust and honesty. Do You think a guy thats not had any concern for resident concerns in the past, will have any concern for his investors beyond getting the money in the first place?
UPDATE
As Jadge pointed out to me today, according to the Vstex website, Robo's IPO has been removed.
It has been brought to our attention that BAY business it's not really SL based.
While there can be interactions between the web based business and
SL, the part based on the metavers does not seem to be nor exclusive
nor prevalent either.
As of now we're open for true and exclusive SL businesses and we do
apologize if the listing rules weren't crystal clear about that.
We'll update them right now. Our apologies to BAY CEO, Robo Marx.
I guess one of the comments below was right, Karma does come back.

Vstex Beware
And also I hope Vstex understands what this will do to it's reputation if one of the first companys thats offered on the website comes attached with such a nasty past reputation for bad mainland dealings and childish behavior.
That's What I'm Talking About
Such a great article and argument. I savored each moment of it. NF needs to publish the Annals of Your 2nd Place so we can keep gems like this at the forefront. It is my supreme wish that I will never face you in a court of law, Sarah Nerd.
Very Interesting
I need to start trolling this site more. Gosh golly I missed this blog. I guess Robo got shot down from two stock exchanges, that being CapEx and Vstex. How much you want to bet he will try ACE?
16 m ad lets fight back
As is see it theres no real away to stop them, unless LL does it and I don't see that happing anytime soon.
So what can the land owners do? well if the land owners around these areas put up wall s as high as the can and enclose the areas behind walls, if you can't see the ad area then it makes these spots unsellable, but it take the owner around the places to work together and the will to part with some prims.
This why I went to Vstex
Its nice to know at least one exchange( www.Vstex.net ) is willing to look past politics, drama, and fattening of its own wallet to give viable companies a shot in SL. I am not looking to take lindens through the IPO, just promote the business itself by being listed( marketing). Rather then believing the outright slander that is promoted in this forum I am sure intelligent investors will do some Due Diligence before playing the game.
Funny thing is, the only place I buy land is along the roadside as do many other real estate investors and advertisers. Why pick on me? Anyone who has every spoke to me in-world is treated with courtesy and professionalism, as I do my best to accommodate their needs. Even when I am griefed or slandered in world I just tend to brush it off and go about my business. Those like Sara who actually profit by me buying up roadside should be more focused on their business and less on drama. Because it is quite clear that all is not going their way since they have so much time on their hands to convey slanderous assaults.
I did list items in the other auction per their guidelines, instead of using the item pic I used the auction logo(marketing again, get the idea Sara or should u head back to college). I even challenged the owner of the in-world auction to place a banner in the rotation on our website. Does that sound as though I am scared of competition? BTW I was never reimbursed when my auctions were wrongfully canceled, even though they did not violate any rules. I guess they really needed to steal from me, I let them have it.
Anyone interested buying into the IPO for BAY may IM me with any questions or concerns about the business, or visit the site below. Its not officially going to be listed yet so go to www.Vstex.net and get yourself 5000 shares of their stock . Then you will be able to vote for the IPO and purchase shares once its up .
Thank you.
Robo Marx

Msg to Sara
Unknowingly every time you post a comment about my businesses they float higher to the top of searches throughout the internet. Even if you delete my comment due to fear of an intelligent battle of wits,or brainwash enough noobs into drinking your koolaid, the public as whole will still see through your lies and greed. But thank you anyway, and I am sorry that your real life is so bad that you take your anger and frustration out on computer generated avatar in a game. LOL
Learn to Build
I think the real issue at hand is that you build like shit. Have a look at the Sapphire Moon ads... they are everywhere, but you hardly notice them because they look great! Maybe if you took 20 minutes out of your day to actually focus on building an eye pleasing ad you would have more people actually using your website and we wouldn't see the same shitty baseball cards for sale. Also do not confuse 'marketing' with 'advertising' ... you are advertising not marketing.
First off My name is Sarah,
First off My name is Sarah, Not Sara. (Who is it that needs to go to college?) And what exactly did I say that was slanderous? Your a ad lot dealer, You buy land in nice areas, you cut the land up, You throw up nasty rotating ads that ruin the rest of the sim and make it unpleasant for anyone who lives there. I don't profit from You, when You destroy land in these sims you devalue everyone elses propertys with no concern or compassion for them. And because other people do dirty business is not an acceptable answer for why You do. Why pick on You? I see You destroy more than anyone else, Your notorious for being the mainland destroyer, and after my initial post I probably wouldn't of said anything about You again, but then I get an im from Bidsl who is owned by two really sweet people upset because You covered there place of business in ads for Your own auction site. Again You say You didn't break the rules, But anyone can easily look at the pictures and see what You did and how unethical it is. I told You, I'll gladly refund the $50L you paid to harass these sweet people and clog every machine in there establishment with ads for Your own auction site. Offering them a banner on Your own doesn't erase what You did to them. And I am fully aware that when I do a post about You it jumps to the top of google, this site doe's good traffic and I'm quite proud of the fact that our blogs reach the top of googles list. Any comment of Yours that is deleted is done so because it's pure spam of Yours and nothing more. If You have a true comment it will no doubt appear listed good or bad, when You use it as pure advertisment or to tell everyone what promotion Your running on Your site it will get deleted like any other spam ad, porn ad, or likewise. Yes this is just a game, but You play a dirty unethical game and I won't support that.
P.S. I'm proud of You! This minus the spam I took out at the bottom of the comment is one of Your more professional comments. Much more mature then Your previous ones. But I guess when Your after money from people You worry a bit more about how You come across.
Also.. this isn't a forum college man. This is my blog used for expressing my thoughts and opinions.
Im not to worried about $L450k
Thats about all I would get from the IPO. I can assure you in RL this is not a great deal to me. I am looking to promote www.slbayauctions.com , not to steal what amounts to $1700 USD. That wouldnt even cover a quarters worth of taxes on my house. (they can leave it in escrow for all I care) WOW I smell an Enron scandal. You have guts to talk about mature comments, how many times do you use foul language in these blogs to cry about your SL problems. You ought to stop running that escort biz out of your SL home with the stalker. And Ive finished college(BA in Economics), how about you SARA. Im through here, so go ahead and waste you time bashing me. This blog is worse then The Jerry Springer Show or General Hospital. The only reason I visited was to retaliate against your cowardly back stabbing. LOL
Robo is full of it ...lol
First of all, robo's house is only 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and is barely worth 450Kusd which is a dump in the state that he is located in. Just the fact that he is attempting to espouse how well off he is in RL indicates otherwise.
Well lets just hope that
Well lets just hope that don't treat Your real life business with the lack of concern for people that You show within SL. One thing that I just can't understand, If Your so well off in real life, why on earth would you resort to ad lot extortion in the game. It's a practace that makes the game nasty for so many people. People not as well to do as You save and spend good money on a nice parcel to call there own, then well to do college educated Robo comes along, buys the plot next to them and then cuts it up into nasty ad parcels and throws up rotataing signs at insane prices that people buy soley for the purpose of getting the spam out of the area. You know full well what Your doing, and if not for the money then why? To be nasty to people for fun? You get pleasure out of making the game bad for other people? Honestly if it's for that more than the money, I think less of You now than I ever have. If Your so well off in real life than You would just play the game for the fun of second life and not do the things you do that hurt other people. And I'm sure with so much money floating around You could easily afford avertising without the stock exchange and taking money from residents. Also really not sure what Your refering to when You mention an escort service, but then again You generally don't make much sense.
And no I haven't been to college, I'm a stay at home mother of 3 who seems to have managed to do quite well in Second Life without the degree. So well I didn't need to resort to ad lot dealing and defacing property. But then again I don't measure how well I've done for myself by what I pay in home taxes so I'm sure our views of doing well are very different.
Youve done well here, why shouldnt others!
Listen everything that grows starts out small.(obviously) I believe there is great growth potential in SL. While I basically play the game now, I hope it to be 10000 or 100k a month as I am sure many do. So while I hold on and look for better opportunities, I basically dig my feet in. Honeslty I have no interest in blogs, myspace, youtube, chat sites. I prefer real interaction. Im in and out talking to a few people I have dealings with. Yes I do shoot the bull with them once in a while. But I prefer RL talk. And as far as the game, who cares who puts what where. Too many people get to insulted about every little thing. If they want a controlled SL envioronment buy land in a sim or play the SIMS online(LOL). I prefer it like the wild west. On a none of your BIZ personal note: I have kids a job, a spouse all the things many SLers have. And no the $$ is not the #1 in my RL. I am probably a better father and spouse then 90% of the men out there. When I stated the fact about my property taxes, I was basically telling you and the other who read this blog that I have no need to steal there IPO $$$, because its not going to make or break me. Im by no means rich, but I have no problem with$$$, and wouldnt risk my SL or RL rep to run off with a lousy $1700.
But You had no issues
But You had no issues risking Your reputation with a land practace highly looked down and You certainly did not care about reputation when You filled the machines of anouther auction establishment with ads to Your own auction site. You were not using the auction machines to auction off any items like they are meant for, You simply made the machines unusable by anyone who had a legit auctionable item to fill the walls of the place in ads for Your own. You call that marketing but most people are unwilling to stoop to that low level of marketing. Obviously we have two very differnt views of Second Life. Maybe I've just been here so long I care too deeply for the game and its people and I'm sorry but I can't just excuse the concerns of others and outright devalue peoples land and not care because "its just a game" You know what Your doing when You set up huge rotating signs and price a 16 meter lot that high and so do I. And about Your personal note, I'm very glad that You treat Your real life family with a lot more respect than You treat the real people behind the avatars of the sims You destroy here. You certainly should. You play Your way and I'll play mine because were just going in circles here and neither one of us will ever change views of spam lot advertising.
In conclusion
Alright I’m done trying to react to your insults. I don’t understand what personal problems you have to convey a rash of insults in a game. And if your are trying to save the environment or something you need to join the sierra club and contribute to a real cause. . Since I know your not going to change your mind I am going to put it to you very simply in an outline to show you whether there is a Robo Marx or not business will still go on:
1 Their is something you should know about since you are a businesswoman called supply and demand.
2 Being that there is a demand for Roadside and smaller plots someone is going to fill that need. I feel that I fill a need in the SL market whether you like it or not does not matter much to me or anyone else.(the market has a mind of its own) I don’t complain when you pay one price for a sim and rent it out at a profit to some noob.
2 Some people don’t like alcohol, some do. The ones who want it should still be able to purchase it though. If you don’t like it you don’t buy it, right.
3 There are people that specifically look for Roadside plots to sell their products and services. I think I charge a fairer price then most of my competitors.
4 People actually buy plots from me to resell. You are going to get a higher or lower value for these plots depending on location, as you may with your estates.
5 Real life businesses and Presidential contenders have interest group pursuing plots to promote their candidates, products and services. (I know politicians are not the best examples, but they are the most powerful people in a country.)
6 Your business may actually grow if you used roadside plots to advertise(we both know you wouldn’t do that). You may have to come to grips with it as more people move into the estate business if you want to continue to grow.
7 I have nothing to hide, I do nothing illegal, I do not harass others, I work with people who own larger lots adjacent to any of my plots, I am perfectly fine with my business model. In my RL employment (If I were a true Dirtbag) I could commit criminal acts all day long and reap $100,000 a year. (which might eventually have me imprisoned-not a good place for people like me.). Selling off virtual plots of land at 20 to 30 sqm is not immoral. Its business, supply and demand. I can tell you from working in the real business world most business have some immoral ways to reap profits out of consumers. 1000x worse then selling pieces of a virtual grid.
8. I really hate to break this to you--if and when SL starts to truly flourish commercialism will be all over the grid. Maybe Coke and Pepsi will have a roadside sign on every grid. Just like when the internet first started to go corporate. There where people who were totally against it. The only problem I have with you is that you’re kind of a hypocrite. Not only do you make money off people putting ads in Mainland(because they go live on one of your estates. Your are bashing capitalism in SL while you reap the rewards of it in world.
9 If you want to make a difference in you Arbor club, donate a small portion of your profits to planting real life trees.
I know I was a little long winded, I am quite honestly sick of fighting with you people. And I don’t particularly like to come on these sites and waste my time. But I fee a need to defend myself from slander and lies…..Let me tell you Bidsl could open up 1000 sites if they let everyone come in there and advertise there businesses on their site(you have to adapt to make $$$as you know)
I really want to get along with everyone, but one thing I’m not is a quitter or a push over and your not going to hurt my feelings with the slander(I see it as a strange form of envy). So if you continue to harass and write nasty things about me you just push me harder. If not we could be friends with opposing views.
Robo
No we will never agree on
No we will never agree on this, and I will continue to grow my business without resorting to ad lot sales which effects our community in a negative way, so I will never be a part of that suppy and demand chain. Thanks for Your business plan, But I prefer to stay with my own. I don't feel I have said anything slanderous, I post Your actions and my feelings of Your actions and thats what my blog is intended for, posting my feelings. What causes I choose to stand for or against is my choice alone. I choose to stand against the destruction of mainland in a manner which in my opionion is extortion of the other land owners in the sim. I would have probably ignored You had you not choose to spam me by dropping ad notecards on me in the first place, as if seeing your spam day in and day out on mainland wasn't enough spam from You. The way I see it You crossed the line and made it personal when You choose to spam me directly and again when You choose to personally spam the other auction house owned by people I consider to be great people and I wanted to help defend. I'm not a push over or a quitter either, so I'll take the fact that You continuosly look at participate in my blog, that "doesn't bother or effect you" at all like you say as a strange form on envy as well. I won't mention You again unless You do something else that I think effects me, the second life community or anyone close to me.
New and curious.... mountain out of a mole hill.
I have been reading about SL for some time before I decided to join a few weeks ago. I read forum after forum and anything/ everything I could about SL. I did so because I planned to start up a business to suppliment my income so that I may help my Family out a little more other than being a house wife, which by the way IS a job. I was looking into ad lot sales or an advertising/ marketing company. I have lately been studying on these types of business. I have looked at Sara's profile, ROBO's profile etc etc. I have looked at ROBO's business practices. The land cutting is not against TOS. As a matter of fact, LL would not make it possible to cut land if it were. So he is within his rights there. I have seen and examined the rotating signage he uses. It was made by a professional who makes signs as part of her business. When I asked her of the lagg it may cause she explained to me how simple the scripting inside them is and that many would have to be used to cause a lagg issue in any sim. She explained to me that a few in a sim would NOT cause lagg. It seems simple enough and I never see but one to a few in any sim. I am thinking of having her make me some signs for my new business. I also looked around his signage and saw many other users with small 16m or 32m, most with laggy signage/ ads. Surely some of these individuals have bought from him. It also seems the same people buy from him as I go from sim to sim investigating. What about the ones who buy from him. If he has repeat customers, as far as business practices goes, he must be doing something right. I am also curious why the purchasers are not bashed in this forum. I have not read anything official about him stealing money from anyone or violation of TOS. Seems to me if you feel he is effecting the value of land in the sims he sells ad lots, he must be causing another effect. After further investigation it seems estates have had a bit of an increase. Is it maybe he is effecting those who own estates in a positive manner? I am not sure what all the drama BS is about. It looks like to me some people just need something to complain about. Anyone want cheese? I see most of the complaints coming from those who stand to lose money/ lindens by the value of mainland realty going down. Maybe that is why some are mad. Has it effected your business? Seems much of what I read here is hearsay and opinion only. NO facts of wrong doing have been presented and frankly I am not convinced. Until LL changes TOS to disallow "land cutting/ ad farms" let's all walk away and leave the man in peace to live his life. As ordinary human beings, do we not all deserve peace and can we not extend it to each other? I can and will. I now leave each of you to your ... peace. One last note: "business ethics" a form of "applied ethics" is a discipline of philosophy that attempts to apply 'theoretical' ethics. Look up theoretical if this confuses you or if you do not understand maybe you should not be reading this. Peace!
Simply greedy and careless for member SLers
There is nothing pro or contra in your statement:
"business ethics" a form of "applied ethics" is a discipline of philosophy that attempts to apply 'theoretical' ethics
Anyone who apply ethics to business conduct is to be applauded.
Anyone trying to find safe harbour in the TOS and takes into account that an estate that costs weeks of work is ruined by a greedy ad farmer clotting the surrounding with the ugliest distracting means of advertising he can find is probably connected to the business.
It is their tactic to blackmail me into buying up the land at exorbitant prices to regain a pleasant view.
Btw - who in his right mind meanders through SL and looks for land for sale in the hope of finding a sign per chance? Right, we all us a map, search window or the web.
And if we are looking for land near a place we like, then even a 10 by 10m sign, flat on the ground, with light, is more than sufficient as a buyer would use cam or flight to look around. And neighbours could live in peace. We do it like that.
But that wouldn't support the kind of "business" you are speaking up for.But then again we don't sell or rent land at multiples of true value. And we don't sell 16, 32 or 64 sqm plots. No one wants them - except ROBo MArX and sorts imho.
Greetings Mrs. Oh-you-forgot-to-sign. May you never own land and then have ad farmers move in next door.
Luv Lykin
P.S.: Sarah, when we have finished training phase we would to contact you. We will probably not need more than 1/2 a sim, so maybe we can work together on that. (and would like to exit "Dreamland" anyway)
Well obviously Your not
Well obviously Your not involved in our community enough to understand how how the community feels. There are certain practaces that are not against the TOS but are highly looked down on by the majority of our residents. Practaces like ad lot dealing and landbot theft. Ad lot dealing is so looked down on there are several groups filled with hundreds of residents protesting this practace. It's not just my complaint, its a community complaint. I suggest You reasearch the main second life forums or other forum threads specific to this matter so that You can have a better understanding of the matter and You can make a more educated response about our community. Generally the only people who defend this practace are the ad lot sellers, and private estate owners who do better when mainland looks like total shit. If You feel his rotating signs were made by a professional than again, You really don't understand sl yet. If doesn't take time or effort to make a large square and ad a rotation script. The majority of people who purchase these ad parcels are neihbors who pay the excessive prices so that they can remove the eyesores from there view, or are unhappy because when these ad parcels are placed, the value of the surrounding land goes down. I have been dealing land in second life for 2 years and have built a really good name and reputation. Robos reputation is that of a mainland destroyer. I understand land value like the back of my hand. If Your going to attempt business in second life, I think thats wonderful. It has been a real blessing for me. Please understand that if You take the ad lot route it will kill Your overall reputation in the game, and if its worth it to You then fine go for it, But from personal experience the reason I have done well is because I've taken residents concerns into consideration and tried to be fair to people and the community and my business grew mainly on word or mouth because of my reputaion.
This is a community complaint, not just my own.
I took a few moments to find a few comments and threads in the main sl forums You seem to have missed in Your research...
this is an few entire threads of negative resident response to ad lots..I started to post comments but realized I would fill page after page after page if I did that so I'm just posting these full thread links.

I love this response by Raymond Figtree to a girl who is an adfarmer because it sums up my feelings so perfectly.
"I would rather close my account than make money the way she does. She
lowers the value of every single person's experience in SL and makes
our world and uglier place with her business practices. If that is
success, I want to be a failure"
I recently considered purchasing a
neighboring plot of land (about 10Km). However, what I discovered is
that there were 4 tiny parcels which were separately owned and not
purchasable. They were being used as "ad space" of course, despite our
sim being a relatively non-commercial one. This essentially ruins the
value of the entire sim, as the owners of these little ad spots can
pile them up with ugly ads, and hold the land hostage for anyone who
inquires about purchasing it.

other landowners, so that their plots are bought and they make

I just wish LL would do something about this..it makes me not want to own land anymore.

You really missed a lot while You were doing Your research on this matter. Honestly I could post links all damn day showing how the community feels about this business practace. It's not my complaint it's a complaint from the second life community in general. I can't stress that point enough.
I see....
I have gone through the links you posted and see a lot of reference to "extortion". Now, let us keep in mine the slanderous effect of this word. Let us look at the actual definition. Extortion (Black's Law Dictionary - 6th Edition) is defined as: "The obtaining of property from another induced by wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear, or under color of official right." I see all the points of the mainland owners seeing it as spam and an eyesore but the word extortion does not fit and in fact is a bit harsh I think. I do not think this man is an extortionist. He may use what is viewed by many as "questionable business practice" simply because it does not comform to the general behavior of the masses. Some may call this act being economic cattle, ants or social zombies. I understand more now about this issue from the last post. I have researched more and read a lot since I made my "new and curious" post. I understand better the issue at hand but also feel the bashing of this one person has not only counter acted your boycott but the name Robo Marx and his slbay site is at top meta for search engines. Kind of the "seeing good in the bad". I will admit, I am nuetral in this issue and only here to learn and voice a bit of my opinion for what it is worth to anyone. A few questions before I close this one out. What is wrong with having this person make my signage for my company? What about the ones who really want to change the future of ads...using sculpted prims, low lagg scripting and asthetically pleasing road ad boards? What of the ones who purchase small 16s or 32s with the honorable intention of trying to make a difference in a virtual community this individual has grown to love and respect? What of the advertising companies that do not cut land, yet only buy what is already cut...at a resonable price with the intent to put beautiful asthetically pleasing, community friendly ad boards up? What of those with good intentions for the SL community? Do they suffer the same fate before they can prove thier honorable intentions? I know is so many questions. I want to be involved but I also understand supply and demand well. There is a demand for ad land. There is a demand for advertising. What of the ones who wish to make a big change in the way ads are percieved? Are they to be prejudged? Do they have to submit a questionaire on thier business to the SL land police? Please enlighten me because from my point of view I see griefing being blatantly encouraged by other residence upon the ad farmers, cutters and ad board owners. Is this practice okay too? Some groups supply trees and objects to grief with. Others hold events where the most inventive ad board cover up would be awarded for this behavior. Two wrongs will not make things right. Can you explain these encouragers of griefing and your involvement and opinion in encouraging griefing upon these ad people? Peace!
This "business practace" is
This "business practace" is is very questionable as You say, and I don't feel I am following the masses. I run a business and I care about this game and it's people, so I care about mainland and it's destruction. This is in no way effective advertising. In nearly all cases the only people who see these ads are the few people living against them. The people who use this method know full and well that they are making the land look horrible in an effort to force people into paying high prices to have them removed from view. Weather You cut the land yourself or buy already cut land, you are part on enabling this nasty practace. This image of a friendly, community loving, respected adfarmer with good intentions does not exsist. You are never going to be viewed as a contributing member of the community if You buy perfect land surrounded by nice residential homes and throw up ads. Is there a need for advertising in second life? Of corse! Hurting Your fellow residents and putting up a eyesore thats only viewed by the few people against it is not effective advertisng. Advertising on high traffic second life websites, buying ads inside of busy establishments, opening a nice build focused on Your business, holding events focused on Your business, these are effective forms of advertisement that doesn't hurt your fellow residents. Also Like I mentioned above, I have always hated seeing Robos ads pop up in areas that were forerly wonderful clean residential areas that at all of a sudden have giant rotating eyesores. The reason I choose to mention Robo was I felt he crossed a line when he decided to spam me personally by dropping ads in my inventory. Then when he decided to make all machines in bidsl unusable because he filled all of there machines with ads for his own. Honestly not sure how You can support that one. Please go speak to the kind people who run it and see how they felt walking in and seeing what he had done to them. It was a sad display on his part and in no way "marketing".
Like I have said time and time again, this blog is my place to speak my views, feelings, and opinions, If You dislike them thats fine with me. You don't need to read them, but I do find it flattering that so many people including You do.
P.S. I don't for one moment believe You are a newbie.
Sick of my cutting land -well Im sick of your LIES
I dint fill up all the auctions only like five out of what 100. They are lucky to have 5 items at a time listed. I paid for the listed items and was not reimbursed when they were wrongly canceled. SO STOP LYING. Is that fair biz practice. And I only invited you into the group when you slandered me the last time. So you could see what it was about before you past judgment. Who is the immoral 1. YOU> Lying= immorality. Buying and selling land is business. Why are so many ads out there if they are not effective. Remember(Supply and Demand). No demand= no need for ads right. The sad fact is Sarah wants to run the SL world. When others get ahead she is mad because she doesn’t have a piece. Hold all the noobs down so they can rent your land and make you$$$. That’s all you want You R the 800lbs Gorilla. Better start using some roadside ad plots for your biz. Before some noobs or current Land barons do, and move in on your land biz. That’s the way the market and real world biz works. A lot more people will see the ads in-world then on one of your cronies blogs or one-sided SL journals. ROBO
Yes I'm lying, the people
Yes I'm lying, the people who own bidsl are lying, and the pictures I took, those must be lies as well. You want paid back for Your harrasment to them? I told You give me an amount and I'll pay You back. I think it's amusing Your so angry. This is the way You make people who live by your ads feel every day but You don't have concern then. You didn't invite me to a group, You spammed me this notecards and thats when I did my first blog on You. I have never lied about a thing, You just dislike my views or the fact that I stand up to what You do to others. I don't want want to run the sl world, but I will voice my opinions when I feel I need to. I have done very well without ad lots and will never sink to that low level of business dealings. I'm not that hard up. I feel I have been far more successful in the second life land market than You have. As for my rental prices I have some of the lowest prices on the market and most of my renters are long time renters I have an excellant realationship with. Glad to see the real robo came out. It was odd seeing You attempt to only post adult like responses. Welcome back!
Sorry Wrong plot------
Oops wrong plot, that was another great land barrons bad deal. Yours was lamella 161 111 29.
Keep the deals coming.

Robo
Thanks for atleast admitting your a liar!
1 picture, 1 thief auction owner @ BIDSL, 1 mad lying land Baron-U.

Because I felt 7.3 was a
Because I felt 7.3 was a fair price for pure water land when I took into consideration the surrounding builds, ad ratio in the sim, and the fact that the lot was not a tierable amount. I take all things into consideration when I price land, and have always priced my land at what I feel is fair. I don't charge excessive amounts like ad lot dealers, so I suppose my pricing methods may be hard for You to understand. I don't use the how hideous can I make this look so that the people around me want to buy me out method You practace. Again, welcome back true Robo!
And you miscaluculated, We have one land barroness-me who has been lucky enough to get a well known name on good word of mouth advertising. I've been blessed with good friends and customers who have helped me so much. We have 2 sweet owners of an sl auction house who never so much as said a word to You and found You putting up ads, not legit items all around there establishment and who were confused as to why You would do such a thing to them because they are peaceful people, And last but not least we have a ad farmer. With the type of business You practace, of corse they should take Your word over multiple people and pictures. *rolls eyes*
And what am I looking for in Marsco? The fact that You enabled this ..
to be turned into this...
Robo, Robo, Robo
When you can get Linden Lab to endorse your unimaginative business model for 16 m plots - I'd love to hear all about it. All you really are until you get that endorsement is someone who destroys value of property. If Linden Lab condones it, please feel free to have the Linden in question email me directly.
Oh, and an endorsement means - 'We agree with and support what Robo Marx does with 16 m plots'. It does not mean that they say, "it is not against the rules".
As far as the rest, you're destroying your own reputation with every post. Please keep going - but mind your manners. I can and will make you unwelcome here if you cross the line.
Inasfar as 'slanderous' - accusing someone of slander without supporting evidence is, in fact, slander. Now go play with your dolls. :-)

The majority of ADS are not
The majority of ADS are not about advertising in my opinion. They are about getting land owners to shell out 10,000L and more dollars for 16m of land just to get the ugly spinning garbage off it. My opinion.
I spent thousand of L's trying to clear my land of what I consider junk 16M land filled with the same spinning mess going around and around. And sometimes it isn't always about "legal" it's sometimes abut what is fair and not fair.
There will always be people who take advantage of others, like placing big buildings in front of beach property to make value go down etc.so they can buy it cheap. This is illegal in rl but ok in sl. What they fail to realize is that justice has a way of evening things up eventually. Call it karma or whatever you like, the world has a way of evening off.
Mu understanding is they are working on a "mute" button for your land so you can cut ads on and off, like sound. Then I guess the ad land will be worthless for ads and they will disappear. I have many business in SL but never felt the need to step on anyone to get ahead.

Regarding BidSL Griefing
Thank you Sarah for the kind words and for sticking up for BidSL.
For the record, Robo filled far more than seven auction units. The ONLY reason he wasn't able to fill all 100 of them was because we caught him in the act, booted, and banned him. We are also assuming that our report to LL resulted in at least a few days of "time out" for him from SL.
By placing his first auction at BidSL, Robo agreed to our terms of service. These terms of service clearly state that there will be no refunds for auctions ended due violation of the terms of service. Placing auctions with descriptions and/or images that don't describe what is being auctioned and/or placing auctions with no intention of delivering an item to the high bidder is quite plainly against the BidSL terms of service. Not only is using false pretenses to accept money(bids)against the BidSL terms of service, but it obviously unethical, and illegal in most areas of the world.
The way I see it, Robo came into our place of business fully intending to vandlize, smear our reputation, steal from our visitors, and to disrupt the function of the business and auctions. This is clearly in violation of our terms of service, and Second Life'd terms of service for that matter. Therefore, I stand behind our decision not to refund the few Lindens he spent while committing these acts of griefing.

Robo, I stand by my
Robo, I stand by my statement. Your denial is just silly. BidSL has moved on, you should as well. BTW, for those looking for ideas of what not to do if you want to be considered an ethical business person, search "BidSL" in the Second Life search and see where "someone" has used BidSL as keyword spam in their listing to show up in our results.

Heh.
Actually, it is quite apparent that people do care - and your own behavior is more of a liability for you than anything written here.
Why would I delete anything? Your actions have been properly labeled. Your defiance demonstrates that you do not care about your potential customers. In essence - you'll reap what you sew. Besides, you probably got here from a Google Search. :-)
Bye. :-)
