Second Life's Biggest Ad Land Extortionist Want's More of Your Lindens!!!!!

So I log onto SL tonight, just like I do you know say, 15 random times a day and I get a drop down saying.... "[21:32] ROBO Marx gave you $L5500 seller credit @ www.slbayauctions.com." First off I think this is a joke, Why on earth would the most well know ad lot famer, sl's largest destroyer of mainland be offering me, a member of the Arbor Project (Biggest anti ad lot group in SL) anything. So out of curiosity I accept and see that not only has this dirty S.O.B. ruined many a sim for me, He is now directly spamming me via note card trying to plug his new auction site, offering me free lindens just for joining! "Sure I'll join his auction site at just about the time snowballs fly freely in Hell." At first I'm wondered if it was the auction site Mr. Nobody had mentioned in an earlier post, that I did sign up for. I was a bit scared to think I may have given information to the most evil dealer on mainland. I was relieved to see that this was in fact a different site. While I was a bit scared to mention this at all because it would give mention of Robo's site and offer a tid bit of free publicity, I decided it was best to mention it in hopes that you realize who owns the site and boycott it if you care about second life in the slightest way. This man does really dirty business on mainland, ruining peoples homes and destroying sim after sim doing anything to make a fast buck. Do you really want to trust him with your personal information and money? I sure as hell wouldn't. If You do love the idea of auctions via linden like I do, I suggest you sign up for the up and coming http://www.bidsl.com, and send Robo Marx the message that You do not like what he doe's to our land by boycotting his site!

Second Life Auctions

Hi Sarah,

Many thanks for your mention of BidSL. You are correct, BidSL has nothing whatsoever to do with the other auction service you mention. Our system is actually quite a bit different. That auction service is simply an internet auction script site being advertised to sell Second Life items. The auctioning at BidSL on the other hand takes place entirely inside Second Life. Sellers set up and place their auctions instantly, bidders bid, and the item is delivered without ever leaving Second Life.

We've had a very nice response from people excited about being able to take part in the fun of auctions in Second Life, but so far we are lacking in auctions listed. Everyone, if you have something to sell, please stop by and give it a try. It is lots of fun and buyers/bidders are starting to grumble that there isn't enough yet to bid on (note: thank you to those that have placed some great items up for bids!)

Bidsl's outright theft.

Bidsl will take money for listing auctions and cancel them for no reason without a refund.
How sad it is that they must steal from customers. No wonder your lacking listings, my $$$ wasnt good enough, well the money was you stole it.

Robo

I find it sickening that You

I find it sickening that You deface this place, and then call them theifs. I told You, I'll gladly pay you the $50L You lost to harass these sweet people. I can't believe how low You are and honestly, I have a hard time believing a grown man would behave this way. The more You talk the more I get the feeling were dealing honestly dealing with someone who has mental problems or is a 18 year old kid. I'm not saying that to be mean, I'm saying that because I really think it's true. At least when You post in my complaints about You, You easily prove my points about You dirty business ethics.

Thanks

Thanks For the head up on that auction snd who is running it>
