I'd heard a little of Second Health before, but after reading Virtual hospital opens doors I decided to go have a look. I teleported over to NHS London (248,11,26) and started checking the place out. You can check out the Second Health website as well.
I was intrigued that they had a privacy policy posted, but it seemed to be the standard fare for the web used for the build itself. Still, as an official build that is probably part of the requirements for the site. I think it is pretty cool; so many places capture information on users but say little or nothing about how the information will be used.
It certainly is one of the more detailed builds - the ambulances weigh in at 253 prims and seem to be well worth that investment. They are easily the most detailed ambulances that I have seen in Second Life. The hospital is also really well done, and having worked in a few during my life I was very pleased to see that they had alcohol hand wipe stations... of course, they aren't necessary within Second Life, but the fact that they were there demonstrated a level of detail in the build which implies a knowledge of the subject. Well done.
The videos are definitely worth watching by anyone.
Second Health looks like a good platform for discussion, and I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Re: A Visit To Second Health
I decided to check out that website as well and was quite pleased with what I found. Plenty of info and well detailed too, so thanks for bringing this up.
I visited it...
This is definitely an epic post and will help a lot of people trying to find this 2nd life hospital. I will send some friends to read it, and I'll even show it to my kids - they are excited about second life, and I like sea turtles who also come to the same places over and over again - just like I am going to come to this post. Weight loss will definitely help you stay out of hospital, but so will a quick detox too!
