Crescendo Chooses RL Company 37signals for Client Management Platform

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Second Life, Second World Island, (128, 128, 26) August 11, 2007; Crescendo Corporation is proud to announce the partnership and cooperation of RL company 37signals, Inc. to design their corporate management communications platform called Crescendo Management System (CMS).

Crescendo Management System is Crescendo's new out-of-game communications & client management platform. CMS enables the Crescendo management to communicate and delegate assignments out of game to their staff. Additionally, CMS also enables all of Crescendo's clients a 'inside' view of Crescendo's operations and they way they manage their clients public relations and marketing needs.

Much ado...

Um. From the screenshot, all they've done is sign up for a Basecamp account. I mean, it's nice to have an out-of-band contact means, and more transparency is always nice, but I don't see any custom development here. Anyone with twelve bucks a month can get the same.

You are both correct, it is certainly the Basecamp product. Which has helped us manage our client workload and establish a direct out of game link with our clients. We are not offering this product at all. Merely communicating to the public that when they choose Crescendo to handle their PR & Marketing needs, they can now track the progress of thier respective communication porfolios.

The # 1 question we face in PR is "When do I see a ROI for your services?" The Basecamp platform helps us answer that question very quickly.

In terms of customizations, unlike the standard Basecamp product, my team and I can now run reports on a number of criteria and a built in budgeting and financial forecasting tool was integrated into our management system.. Those customizations were done at our request which 37signals was more than happy to accomadate us on.

So overall the the Basecamp platform is flexible for any companies needs, be it project management, communications, brainstorming, etc....

Just putting the good word out to our clients and other service oriented providers that have a full plate of projects and need a easy and clear way to manage them.
