I'd held off on writing about AJAX Life because the poor website has been pretty much smacked to Hades with all of the buzz. But it's good buzz. A young woman, 15 years old, wrote an application which runs Second Life in a browser - no graphics, but you can chat and IM as well as teleport around.

While there is some interest and even a good explanation of how it works, I think many people are missing the obvious.

This might even make greeter bots useful for people using something like AJAXLife. The down side? You can't see stuff.

Mad props to a 15 year old female hacker for doing something no one else did - not even those big bulky corporations.
