Sarah's Week's End Summary

Well I didn't have any huge life changing things happen in my personal secondlife this week, not enough to make a full blog entry with at least =), But I did do, see, and hear a few cool things so I figured I'd share because this is my blog, and I can do what ever I want right?

I bought out any remaining retired hairstyles from Sinsation and the walls at Nifty Fifty are getting full. I'm basically using most all of my free time boxing and texturing hair. I'm really happy with the way Nifty Fifty is filling up and hope it continues to grow and develop. If your into hair, I'd be sure to check it out a lot this week as more and more are added. While I'm on the Nifty Fifty subject, I also started an affiliate vendor program. It allows anyone to sell Nifty's products via a vendor and get 50% of the proceeds. The vendors seem to be being distributed well so I am excited and hope it helps people make a few extra linden and helps the store as well.

When I was a young secondlifer, everyone knew that the only place in sl to get really cool boots and shoes was HeartsDesire. The quality and unique style was unmatched. I remember when Heart Wishbringer and Joe Stravinsky stopped into my club for the first time. It was one of the first times I felt sl celebrity star struck. They were incredibly nice to me and everyone at the club, gave several of us free boots and slippers, and just showed everyone what great people they were. It is well known that the funds they made from the store were being saved in hopes they would one day meet in real life. That time has come two years later and they are sharing that experience with us via itv.com. We get to see them explain what second life has meant to them and follow the love they have shared. We will even get to see them meet and kiss for the very first time. How cool is that? The first episode shows a little of each in real life settings. It shows them talking a bit about the real love they have developed through second life. I thought it was really well done and really enjoyed seeing them happy and glowing. I'm excited about the upcoming episodes.

A few friends I haven't seen in a bit came back in game, and thats always cool. First was Roc Armistice. Roc is one of my oldest sl friends and was my very first second life partner. That's Me Roc, and Bella Wilberg rocking out in our mullets for movie night. The 3 of hanging out and having a good time watching a bad movie felt really nice and reminded me of why I came to second life in the first place. To have fun with great friends. Some times I get so caught up in the business end of sl, I forget about that.
Raymond Figtree also came back after a month long break from second life. Raymond is one of my closest dearest friends in secondlife and I'm really glad he has come back. I was a bit worried he would give up on sl after a month away. I missed him a lot and my second life just isn't as complete without Raymond. Welcome back Raymond!

And there you have it my second life week. Maybe not the most exciting and blog worthy of weeks, but it is what it is. <3 Sarah
