If Linden Lab Ran The United States

Just think: If Linden Lab were to run the United States...

  • There would be no invasion and/or occupation of foreign countries. People would just buy new simulators.
  • If you wanted to be a citizen with Rights, you simply buy an annual subscription to the United States. Or you can wander around the United States in eternal vagrancy.
  • The banking industry would not be in trouble because it would not exist.
  • There would be no true real estate market; Linden Lab would keep making more land.
  • There would be no 'Pro-Choice' or 'No-Choice' issue on abortion.
  • Gay marriage would not be an issue.
  • Shooting or otherwise attacking other people could result in you being exiled.

Feel free to add to the list...

Re: If Linden Lab Ran The United States

~You would be put in solitary confinement for saying  *Fuck You, LL*. (That one's for you Ms. Sarah)
~The only single *Bill of Rights* would come in the form of a tier payment each month.
~Tier-anny rules!

Re: If Linden Lab Ran The United States

- People would be terminated and dissappear without ever hearing from them again.
- taxes would be doubled over night
- free press would be killed and only pro usa writing would be allowed
- People would receive punishments without a trail
-Properties could disappear and bankaccounts could be empty when you wake up
-State communications would make no sonce or be changed the next day to the opposite
-People would live in fear for the coverment always

If you do not see yet that SL is lead by a ruthless dictatorship, then you are not long in SL yet.

Anyone could be executed, their estate seized, and their possessions repossessed with or without reason and at the sole discretion of Linden Lab.

Re: If Linden Lab Ran The United States

comments about government would be limited to the first 150 techincal questions and the roadmap for improving the country would be in development without a committed timeline.
