A few weeks ago, I covered a WHJ announcement stating that Cristopher Whitfield of WHJ was apparently deceased. Since then, a new announcement was posted (in Deutsch) that upgrades his status from deceased to critically ill.
Quite a health care system they have over in Germany. Did Michael Moore note this in Sicko? Apparently I wasn't paying attention.
I was provided with an English version of the announcement, which you can find here, with the relevant portion directly below:
CLARIFICATION OF CRIS
Cris is very ill and not DEAD. It was certainly not a good idea to let him die in the real World or in SL, but in the given situation it was the only idea we had to save the islands.
In retrospect, it turned out by the fact that it was no use.
The WHJ website is now defunct, so there's no original announcement to back this translation or allow readers to authenticate it.
Fortunately, Steffen Bolton, who claims to be the real life brother of Cristopher Whitfield, has created a blog . At the time of publishing this article, the sole post was amusingly titled "Back to life, back to work." I suspect the irony is lost on WHJ investors.
As expected, threats of a legal action have emerged. And as always, I'm sitting on the edge of my seat hoping that the outcome might result in some manner of legal precedent.
Late last month I wrote a request that Steffen Bolton allow me to interview him. That request, left on the now-defunct WHJ website, went unanswered.
A writer for the Avastar(who I know nothing about) would later contact me to inform me of their own investigation into this matter, which you can find here. I don't know a great deal about the Avastar or their methods, but I cannot deny that their findings are intriguing, to say the least.

Reading properly
I am used to read texts very properly. Typos happen, some just shouldn't happen in some situations in some countries. I noticed it is corrected now. http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:oydmDbMsfg0J:sl.bolton.over-blog.co...
Deepest apologies for my sense of humour.
The new blog
Well, an interview with Mr. Bolton might be much easier now, as he employed a translator. Miss Ester Himmler provided the translation of the first posting. If she is not available, perhaps Miss Heidi Hitler or Gerda Goering might help out ...
Whats going on here....
try to read the blog right.....
her name is Himmeler... jesus
Jesus begins with a capital 'J'.
Most people don't bother to spell things right in Second Life. Blog comments associated with Second Life gain the same levity for the same reason. ;-)
