Sarah Nerd sent me one of her new RSS feeders that works within SecondLife, and Tesla - my normally lazy rottweiler (you can get one of your own on Turing Island at this SLUrl) - got up and greeted it. Since the name of the object started with 'Sarah', Tesla greeted Sarah and stood there for a while before he went back to his full-time job of laying around and snoozing.

Kind of interesting to see an actively learning dog react to a RSS feed.

Yes, I have two dogs - Tesla and Shadow. Tesla lays about quite a bit, Shadow (the black labrador) is always off exploring... perhaps chasing prim rabbits. They interact with avatars and scripts that they encounter.

I finally broke Shadow of howling...
