Passion Dance @ The Grey Hare Coffee Shop
Just when you think "nice" is out of style, I see one of those irritating group messages flash on my screen. What do I know? I very special friend of mine who has opened up a "coffee shop". Of course she is a great friend of mine so I know she has a new venue, The Grey Hare Coffee Shop ...on top of just the venue....she has the amazing Shantu Selene, seen here in this UTUBE Video. A little bit of country, a little bit of rock and roll, and a little bit Elvis. Ladies, take a 2nd pair of panties when you go listen to this young man.
Now about The Grey Hare, what a totally awesome venue. Owned and operated by Marillanne Slade and her rl husband, Mitchmiester Slade. This venue is set in a German setting. It not only caters to us human type avatars...It caters to Tinies. With tiny seating, tiny dances, and even "boing-ing". (HUH?) Not quite sure yet what boinging is but I know they were asked to stop so Marilla could hear the music. :-).
The Grey Hare has shopping and the shopping is sorted into areas....for clothing, for furniture...so if you want to look at clothes...all the clothes are in one area....if you are looking for a favorite chair with a book? You will find that in its own place also.
Marilla has done an excellent job at filtering out rubble for shops...you cannot just purchase a space you have to actually have an interview and then an invitation. IF, you are a tiny there is a complete mall set just for tinies.
It is just an amazing new venue done with style and a simple kindness. I know that may sound a bit odd, but if you just take a look around you will understand completely what I mean.
Marilla and Mitch are two of the nicest people I have met in Second Life. I have known Marilla since the Fuzzy Navel days and I count myself lucky to have her as a friend.
They are now opening their doors to live entertainment, and, Oh my, Shantu was on his key, my key, and I am sure he was thrown a key or two, tonight. He does a version of "Over the Rainbow" like none I have ever heard. (That is my personal favorite.) He also has some amazing original songs that I know every word too, speaking originals, Passion Dance, wow. Request this song one time...and you will request it every time.
So, do yourself a favor, take a night off, take a teleport over and wander through all of the fantastic tiny areas (they are working on a playground area right now)they have hidden inside the mountains. For the romantics in you....don't miss out on Romance Mountain.

I am so thrilled ... this is why we built ...
Jezebel, your reaction to our island is exactly the type of reaction we hoped for when we built our little space in SL.
Community is hugely important in SL ... it takes longer to build a real community than to generate artificial numbers.
The new SL search has allowed me to help the merchants who have come to us be successful here while we slowly build a real community based traffic flow.
The sim name is Butzbach. We call the space Butzbach village. The "self-serve" Romantic Dance Mountain is on the SW corner. Be sure to explore all levels of this romantic spot.
And yes Shantu Selene and Kelvinblue Oh have each played a part in our success.
