'Virtual Law: Navigating the Legal Landscape of Virtual Worlds' Review Done

As some of you may know, I also do book reviews - and as such, I got a manuscript of Virtual Law: Navigating the Legal Landscape of Virtual Worlds, written by Benjamin Duranske of VirtuallyBlind.com. With all the recent talk of trademark, the ongoing issues of copyright infringement (which creators in worlds call 'theft'), and questions of criminality running amok over the last year, it seems appropriate to make a cross-post of sorts.

My review of the book is here; it scored very high in my eyes and... no, I don't even get affiliate commissions from it. It is very readable, has real cases as references, and could be a good primer for people in virtual worlds not only on law but what they can expect in different situations.

With all that is going on these days, I think $50 is a worthwhile investment for content creators and people running businesses within synthetic worlds. I know I'll keep it close at hand.
