From The Publisher (Your2ndPlace.com Legal Stuff)

Due to the multinational and multiple author nature of Your2ndPlace.com and the necessity of proper use of [w:trademark]s associated with worlds which Your2ndPlace.com authors and users deal with, there are difficulties associated with assuring that authors and trademark owners alike maintain a respectful balance. To this end, this living document, written by the publisher of Your2ndPlace.com (Taran Rampersad) sets forth the guidelines that should be followed by authors in letter and in spirit.

This is all done in the spirit of cooperation, but since the Publisher is not a lawyer he will not pretend to be one on the Internet. Instead, he will request advice as needed when situations arise.

Comments from users are their own property, and may be removed if there is a flagrant disregard for Law.

When writing of a company or its products, assure proper trademark usage as best one can - and where there are issues, the company with a potential dispute may contact me directly through an anonymous comment here (which will not show publicly, but will be happened across in the regular administration of the site). The WHOIS information for the site is accurate, which does seem a novelty in this day and age, but if there are issues I do want to know, and the site will comply as quickly as possible.

The original authors may be contacted directly in the same manner - by commenting on their posts.

All issues, if and when they arise, will be handled on a case by case basis and with appropriate legal counsel as necessary.
