Socialism is an economic system, and social democracy is a political one.

Rather than Social Democracy, Hillary Rodham is closest to democratic socialism. But what makes it a "nationalist" version is not merely her desire to use the military for world-saving, but her conception of rights: she evidently believes that rights exist at the group level rather than primarily at the individual level. So unions have rights, races have rights, genders have rights, and the rights of individuals are subordinate to these franchises.
