There was a big hint at one of the new governance team meetings that banks would be looked into, I asked whether I could be given a hint that something big was going to change so I could get my money out but the response was negative (I have a very small amount in the bank so my request was somewhat tongue in cheek).

However fraud cannot continue to be left to residents to pursue. LL have a responsibility to intervene, they have the logs, they have the transactions and when it suits them they have the power, as they told us at tonight's governance meeting when they acknowledged that we have no privacy in SL.

LL as a company do need to grow up and they need to grow up fast, being the only kid on the block won't give them the longevity they crave. They have a choice, take themselves seriously and act like professionals or be remembered as the company who paved the way for platforms like this and have people saying "What was the name of that guy who ran that company based in San Francisco".
