Clarifications:

(1) People who do not have user ids here on Your2ndPlace.com have their comments moderated because of spam messages that are often posted to websites.

(2) At this time, there are two people who approve comments on this site. These are Sarah Nerd and myself. This is not the same as editing comments.

(4) Sarah appears to have covered both sides and been very even-handed. Nothing in the comments has more factuality than what Sarah has written. Opinions have been expressed. That is fair. The original post that Sarah made on this was in the form of a question - a question which, based on what was available, allowed people (including me) to form an opinion.

(5) My opinion is pretty straightforward, but affects no comment moderation UNLESS one is being a troll or flaming people. Personal attacks qualify people for the ban stick. Only one person has presently been hit with the ban stick.

Questions? Comments? Complaints? Fine, that is fair. But understand, too, that this is a website where free discussion is encouraged but personal attacks are discouraged. Expressing an opinion of what someone has done is fine. Calling someone names is not fine.
