Little Nerd in the Making.

So my oldest of 3 stayed the night this weekend at her Granny's with her oldest cousin.  While she was there she got set up on Club Penguin. Although it's nothing like Second Life and is set up as a safe place for kids to socialize, my daughters actions felt all to familiar.  She just can't wait each night to get on and play.  She needs to play games so that she can earn the game currency so that she can get new outfits and accessorys for her iglo0.  Two days into it and she maxed out her 100 friend limit.  She proudly tells me that she's already famous for dancing all the time and having partys in her igloo.  Today I heard her describing another penguin to her younger sisters as being "Emo".  I know she has no clue what emo means, but she's picking up the lingo.  If I ever see a penguin in silks asking for a Gorean master I'm disconnecting the internet.  But who knows, if sl outlasts me, I guess I've found the next Nerd to pass on my sl to.
