I’ll begin this at the end, Thanks Steffen, you are amazing!

Late last month one of our sandbox builders approached Kai (Eldirch, my partner) and asked if we were interested in a free sim … of course we were. Our first thought is I wonder what this will cost us, not that we are cynical; it’s just that we are cynical, and nothing is ever free. Steffen invited us to his sim, this wasn’t a run of the mill sim with a common build. It was a work of art! It was a sim of caves, and tunnels, shops, wildlife and beauty. We asked several times if he was sure, we felt bad knowing that we would flatten it out and put up some shops for rent and a big flat space for the sandbox.

Here we are, about 15 days later, we put the tickets in to get the sim transferred this morning (4/12/08). He sold the land to me for 0L and added me to the estate manger list so I could get working. Just like a dream, Fermi sandbox has grown from that very first little plot of 1536m back in 2006 to this amazing full sim! When asked why, he said “I like building in your sandbox, and wanted to help”.

All I have left really to say is that I hope you come and visit the new Fermi sandbox, and if you ever run across Steffen Menjou, thank him for me!
