Just when you think "nice" is out of style, I see one of those irritating group messages flash on my screen. What do I know? I very special friend of mine who has opened up a "coffee shop". Of course she is a great friend of mine so I know she has a new venue, The Grey Hare Coffee Shop ...on top of just the venue....she has the amazing Shantu Selene, seen here in this UTUBE Video. A little bit of country, a little bit of rock and roll, and a little bit Elvis. Ladies, take a 2nd pair of panties when you go listen to this young man.
Now about The Grey Hare, what a totally awesome venue. Owned and operated by Marillanne Slade and her rl husband, Mitchmiester Slade. This venue is set in a German setting. It not only caters to us human type avatars...It caters to Tinies. With tiny seating, tiny dances, and even "boing-ing". (HUH?) Not quite sure yet what boinging is but I know they were asked to stop so Marilla could hear the music. :-).

The Grey Hare has shopping and the shopping is sorted into areas....for clothing, for furniture...so if you want to look at clothes...all the clothes are in one area....if you are looking for a favorite chair with a book? You will find that in its own place also.

Marilla has done an excellent job at filtering out rubble for shops...you cannot just purchase a space you have to actually have an interview and then an invitation. IF, you are a tiny there is a complete mall set just for tinies.

It is just an amazing new venue done with style and a simple kindness. I know that may sound a bit odd, but if you just take a look around you will understand completely what I mean.

It has been awhile since I have blogged anything. But I will be getting back to it soon. I see we have a few new bloggers, hello and congrats! Unfortunately for me, I lost my mom in the past month, who fought a very hard battle, and am still trying to catch my breath.

Thank you NoFu for your understanding. The rest of you? Get ready because Relay for Life has HIT 2nd life with a BANG!!!

Our dear friend Montelli Vantelli passed this article about Landbots Make Mistakes Too. For those of us whom have lost, known people whom have lost, or just been affected in other ways about land that has been lost to landbots who buy at the cheapest price. In this case the table was turned. I do not know Yohan Pintens, other from when my land (the Fuzzy Navel) was lost, Yohan was called in by my very dear friend Thai Racer, to try to help with the situation about the landbot. Any friend of Thai's is a friend of mine. Yes, thats how much I trust Thai Racer of The Racer Group. Ok onto Yohan's troubles. I appreciate his feelings of dispair. I just can't help feeling ........ well if only it had been Celine.

Customer Service in Second Life....I had purchased a few ducks and swans from Animania. If you haven't been there you are missing one of the feathered miracles of Second Life. Well as messed up as SL can become, and me being the water bird fanatic that I am. I came to find out that I was missing 3-4 ducklings, a couple or 2 of the cygnets,a few sitting ducks, and a few miscellaneous birds.
I decided to contact Animania customer service representative, Anni Timeless, wow, what a pleasant surprise! She said to me "Anni Timeless: (Saved Mon Feb 04 14:46:22 2008) It is awfull what has happened to you. Let´s wait a day or two and make a balance after that. I´ll see what I can do for you." The reason she wanted to wait a day or two was to see if any showed back up in my inventory.
From past dealings with Ms. Anni, I know she is a woman of her word. I, also, lay no blame at Anamania's door. They hold NO responsibility for the disappearences of my fowl feathered friends. But instead of saying sorry, all sales final (where have we heard that before?)she has gone above and beyond, and to me it is a thing to be valued in anylife.
Not only does anamania serve webbed wonders, they have many other "flying" surprises, from butterflies, hummingbirds, insects, fairies, and even a FREE lady bug. Believe me when I say this is one place you won't get your Goose cooked. :-)

The more regulation enforced upon residents, the more SL becomes like the real world. It is not “My Imagination” if I am not permitted to create anything that I can imagine, and that motto has outlived its use-by date.

Can someone tell me when scamming people is considered being "creative" and using your "imagination"? When you scam someone (which people try to do in RL every day to my 85 y/o grandmother) for their money knowing that its a scam.....is plain theft in ANY world.....I do not believe its an "imagination" issue. When you find "creative" ways to steal from people, and after so many losses to date on THIS issue alone...SOMEONE has to take responisbility and put a stop to it.....(we know other issues that could use some outside interference also).

Its called "protecting innocent people". Next time someone says "Your world, your imagination" Try to imagine a world without stealing and scamming and taking advantage of others.

If you didn't make it to the grand opening of To The Nines yesterday - you don't know what you missed. As I mentioned before, the lovely Jean Munro kicked off the 1st European time zone Grand Opening, which I didn't get to attend (work in the rl interfered), but I was informed it was a great success.

I did manage, however to attend the 8-10 pm SLT Grand Opening for us North/South American sided people. The lovely Preciousse Moody has a silken voice, God has obviously blessed this woman and all that come to listen to her. What a thrill! Among some of her already growing fan club, were the amazing Paisley Beebe and the ever entertaining split personalities of Louis Volare, a few of the Second Life personalities that participated in the grand opening who are known themselves for their golden vocal sounds..Paisley was obviously very appreciative of Preciousse - "Paisley Beebe: /Your amazing Preciousse". Natalie Niven danced the night away, Serenity Mercier from M2 was there , Isabell Bracco from Avastar, and Artist Sky High...who has her gallery now located in the LBD Village.
Our own Cadence Juran from Meta Network News (ceo) was there..she is a good friend of LBD (LeeZu Baxter Design, and lets not forget Alienbear.

Well I was talking to a friend of mine who is the person who had originally invited me to Frank's Place.... She actually tried to plead Fuzzy's case the night he was refused, and was ignored by the general manager who USED to be a friend of hers....during our conversation, not five minutes ago, she told me this "Barbara Nicholls: They kicked a friend of mine out without warning because he had jeans on. Didn't even give him a chance to change

So much for customer service. At least they only FROZE the alien.

Needless to say, Barb and GM (her husband) do not go there anymore. Infact, Barb went one step further - Not only does she model for LeeZu Baxter, she now is the events manager for a NEW Jazz Club. Yes, it is a formal club..but Furries (Fuzzy included) are allowed. Fuzzy recieved a personal invitation to the grand opening, which happens to be December 28th at "To The Nines".

The new owners are: LeeZu Baxter and Suzi Phlox, with their events manager: Barbara Nichols.

The party goes from 1pm to 3pm SLT for the European timezones and from 8pm to 10pm for North America and points West. For our grand opening Friday we present the vocal stylings of the fabulous Jean Munro at the piano starting at 1pm SLT and at 8pm SLT, the romantic, sultry songs of Preciousse Moody for your dancing and listening pleasure.

The dress code is formal so dig out the tuxedos and the gowns and party in the moonlight.
